How can they write an article about a solar mining op and not say hardly anything about what powers these rigs (assuming they run 24/7) for the hours when the sun isn't shining?
Although the miner’s operations will be powered by solar energy, they will still be connected to the grid to have the option to provide power back to the grid.
I can't tell -- it seems like this referring to the Texas operations, or is it the Colorado site? If this is only for offtaking power from the solar farm, again ... what's powering the rigs in the night, the evening, and the early morning when the solar isn't producing any (or enough) power to run the rigs?
