Buying influence would mean donating to developers directly - channeling funds through a non-profit indicates no strings attached attitude but it will be interested to see whether that changes overtime, especially when/if Bitcoin internal politics heat up again
This is the kind of shit that really scares me. No problem donating to HRF, but stay away from open sats.

Absolutely nothing. Opensats is fantastic. I don't want these funds throwing money around and think they can buy influence.

I agree at the beginning. But as time goes on corruption is insidious. I know it can't be helped. I just hope everyone stays vigilant and suspicious.
