Great site with lots of good info, presented nice and simple like.
This timeline goes through events starting in 2017 with the U.S. Government revealing their Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).
There's a definitions page as well, some of the notable ones I think people should be aware of:
Independent Research and Development Activity (IRAD)
- Independent Research & Development (IRAD, or IR&D) is research and development (R&D) activities conducted by private companies that have potential interest to the U.S. Department of Defense.
- These activities cover technical research and development efforts by industry that is not directly sponsored by or explicitly required in the performance of a specific contract.
- From the USG document, IR&D "does not include the costs of effort sponsored by a grant or required in the performance of a contract." IRAD funds are for research not already tied to a government contract or funded by a grant.

Non-Human Intelligence
- Any sentient intelligent non-human lifeform regardless of nature or ultimate origin that may be presumed responsible for unidentified anomalous phenomena (or of which the [US] Federal Government has become aware).
Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP)
- Any object operating or judged capable of operating in outer-space, the atmosphere, ocean surfaces, or undersea lacking prosaic attribution due to performance characteristics and properties not previously known to be achievable based upon commonly accepted physical principles.
But... eh... they're probably making it all up right?
