Africans need property rights. Bitcoin delivers this. Their countries make up 20 of the bottom 30 spots for property rights. They also need more water.

Heard someone make this point recently. Human-centred projects versus humanitarian-ism as a concept, is often confused. 'Isms' are akin to a failure of sincerity, or maybe the subversion of sound intent.
Open technologies and systems are not market-driven investment themes with the priviso of accepting ideological belief. The best minds in the space recognize that. and not everyone is interested in price. Then again, if one was harvesting a crop to be taken to market, one would be. Yes, there's a need to check how we communicate but not everyone is running with the hype and endorsements.
I'd guess that property rights and the commons are important in different amounts, emphasizing regional and cultural variations. Consunsus is filtering out the dischord to reach agreements and understanding.
