I have some friends here in the states who are really into it. I'm not sure they're addicted but they use it frequently. I've never tried it but I've heard it compared to the dissociative affects of NO which I can imagine developing an affinity for.
Kind of an aside, but for a long time I thought ketamine was blue because that's the color of the K they use ... then I realized they were mixing it with Adderall.

Its one of those drugs that if you wonder that, they probably have a problem.. I consider to be the worst psychedelic because of that.. No one wakes up from a strong acid dose and asks for another.. With K that happens..

Makes sense. In my personal opinion, K is only fun when you counter the effect. Otherwise it isolates you from the world.. Some people like saying goodbye to the world if even for 15 min.. Not my case.. Meth *adderall or ritaline works just perfectly to keep you functional.

At a party, an acquaintance took an abnormally large dose (they had a mental health prescription) and described it as being hard to "arrive" at our conversation and made clawing, breaststroke-like motions to express their commute to the present moment.

I wouldn't assume so. I find drugs interesting despite not being a user so I get it.

For me they are cheatcodes to life itself. Its amazing how we can "hack" our brains somewhat or somehow.

I agree! They're like any other powerful life experience or change only more accessible.
