Around a quarter of 16- to 24-year-olds don’t drink at all.
Sure not, they are doing ketamine

damn.. the title. I havent, but surely will have a look. Ketamine really affects your bladder.. Guess the pissing blood comes from there.. Theres a recent hype on Ketamine for the last 10 years or so. cheap and easy to get. Despite being an interesting drug i think its the only addictive phychedelic and that kind of ruins the purpose.. 🦖

I have some friends here in the states who are really into it. I'm not sure they're addicted but they use it frequently. I've never tried it but I've heard it compared to the dissociative affects of NO which I can imagine developing an affinity for.
Kind of an aside, but for a long time I thought ketamine was blue because that's the color of the K they use ... then I realized they were mixing it with Adderall.

Its one of those drugs that if you wonder that, they probably have a problem.. I consider to be the worst psychedelic because of that.. No one wakes up from a strong acid dose and asks for another.. With K that happens..
they were mixing it with Adderall.
Makes sense. In my personal opinion, K is only fun when you counter the effect. Otherwise it isolates you from the world.. Some people like saying goodbye to the world if even for 15 min.. Not my case.. Meth *adderall or ritaline works just perfectly to keep you functional.

At a party, an acquaintance took an abnormally large dose (they had a mental health prescription) and described it as being hard to "arrive" at our conversation and made clawing, breaststroke-like motions to express their commute to the present moment.
No one wakes up from a strong acid dose and asks for another.
I wish all pleasurable things that are harmful in large quantities had this feature.

hehehe, so true...
Yet, as this doesnt happen and if you have someone you know in need to detox Ibogaine is the rigth tool
And if anyone wonder, im not the ultimate junkie :) just a chemist by training who used to test drugs. The perks of living in a place where drugs are basically legal

So I've heard. I hope they figure out the mechanism eventually.
im not the ultimate junkie
I wouldn't assume so. I find drugs interesting despite not being a user so I get it.
My guess would be anti-depressant pharma pills.

Its truly shocking how many kids are on the pharma train at those ages in the US at least. Growing I knew one kid. Now it is a much higher percentage of kids/teens.

Pharma is out of control in the US. USA and New Zeland are the 2 only contries to allow Pharma adds.. Since then shit got out of hands..
Take a look at Adderalkl and Ritaline.. Its fucking wicked.. Its fucking meth.. And it works just like meth.. Actually i enjoy the recreational use.. But giving that to kids is fucking wicked

It is wicked and its more than just those. Pharma owns the media and politicians. They have for some time. I think more people are starting to see it but not enough. They get caught up in the politics psyop and miss how the incentives work. How it really isn't a conspiracy. Its a system and it works beautifully for the pharma companies.

I forget which book it was but I recall reading about the state of alcohol use in the US at the turn of the century (1900s) specifically gin because of its low cost. I've thought about how it takes humans a good while to adapt to changes like this. I suspect the Internet is like this. Gonna take several generations for us to adapt to the existence of new drugs both physical and things like the Internet. There is a balance but before we find that we go in both directions.
