Hey guys!

I have a question...
How I can send my stacked sats from Fountain to a LN? What kind of LN wallet I need to have?
I have Muun and ZBD right now. It is OK, or I need to install an another wallet?

Thanks for your replies!

Than kyou all guys for your kindly reply & help!
I tries it to withdraw to ZBD, and worked well for the first try.
@cryotosensei I used the method suggested by you.

@megaptera and @cryotosensei why do you think Muun is shit? I don't know much information about, my question is just for my curiosity :)
I tried to transfer some sats from Muun to ZBD, and worked well and without fees. Or you guys mean the horrible fees when I transfer to a BTC wallet from Muun?

reply

A picture speaks a thousand words.

Muun doesn’t let me withdraw my sats to ZBD anymore

I will describe now, how did I do it step by step (hopefullty will be not boring) :)

Step 1: Open ZBD, click on your wallet balance, and click "Deposit"

Step 2: Select Lightning Network (2nd option)

Step 3: Insert the amount you want to receive in ZBD

Step 4: ZBD will generate you a QR code, click on "Copy invoice"

Step 5: Go to Muun wallet, and select "Send"

Step 6: Insert the invoice copied from ZBD and click on continue

Step 7: It will show you the transaction details - amount + fee - in my case fee is zero, then click on "Send"

Step 8: Payment sent instantly, and without fees. ZBD also confirmed the deposit.

Maybe your country is not allowed by Muun? Or what other scenario is possible for what you're not "eligible" to send from Muun to ZBD?

P.S. Sorry for my long reply, but I can't formulate shorter :)

reply

Thanks buddy for uploading the images, one at a time!

Once in a blue moon, I can transfer data from Muun to ZBD. That’s why I still keep my Muun wallet in hopes that I can withdraw my 3440 sats from there haha

reply

Maybe I can help you to solve this issue, if you accept my proposal.
My proposal is: I will send you an invoice from Muun for 3440 sats, you will send me these sats, I transfer to my ZBD and send back to you. For this it is required to send me an invoice for these sats amount from ZBD...and of course...you need to trust me I don't steal your sats :)
But you know what...send me the invoice from ZBD, and I will send you the sats firstly...I trust you.
If you agree, send me here the invoice, as reply
What do you think?

reply

The thing is that muun tells you that it is a lightning wallet but it is not. They work with swaps which can get really expensive when the on-chain fees are high.

reply

You can link ZBD.

reply

I use ZBD as well.

Click on “Withdraw with LNURL” on Fountain

Go to ZBD and click on “Scan QR code” found at the bottom of the screen

Once there, click on “Paste” at the bottom right screen. It will enable you to paste your LNURL derived from fountain

Also note that you need a minimum of 100 sats before you can withdraw anything. Keep listening haha

reply

Any lightning wallet that can handle lnurl. Phoenix is an example. That being said, in my experience it's very difficult to successfully withdraw sats from fountain. The transaction always fails initially. If you have trouble, just contact support. They are good at resolving issues.

reply

Do not use Muun. ZBD ist probably good but custodial.
You could use Breez or Phoenix for example.

reply

Seconded. Muun is shit. It charges an exorbitantly high channel fee every time you try to withdraw some sats. I still have 3400 sats stuck in my Muun wallet
