I don't think Maxx closed the season out strongly enough. Ironically, that's because other guys finally stepped up and made the defense legitimately elite. It's also because he was probably only at about 60-70% with his knee injury.
I'm expecting Garrett to win it, but wouldn't be surprised by Watt.
I would say TJ, then Garrett then Crosby. Bland got a ton of INTs but that guy is a huge gambler and got burned a ton too. Parsons is a great pass rusher but got torched in the run multiple times this year. Maybe it's just my Cowboys hate but I don't think those guys belong.
Warner had a better year than both of them. If you are going to include a DB why not a LB?

Warner does feel like an omission. Did he miss any time?
It's also weird not seeing Mahomes as a finalist, when he's right back in the AFC Championship as clearly the best player. I'm not saying he got snubbed, but this might look silly in a few years.

No but Greenlaw and Burks both missed multiple games which hurt his overall numbers because he was trying to make up for their absences. I don't think the Lions are going to have as much fun running up the middle and throwing over the middle as they did against the Buccs.
