Saturday morning was The Littles, Ewoks, Care Bears and Transformers. Then WWF wrestling.
Tom and Jerry would air on Saturday afternoons.
Have you ever watched the video about what killed Saturday morning cartoons?
One hint, a 90s president with links to a certain Island…

Smurfs, super friends, looney toons, Scooby Doo.

Transformers, teenage mutant ninja turtles, Thundercats, he-man, Spiderman, dragon ball z. Nowadays I don't watch any, just a bit of Masha and the bear with my kid.

I'm old. My favorites were Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse, Underdog, The Roadrunner, Bugs Bunny, Rocky And Bullwinkle, and The Hillybill Bears. I'm probably forgetting a few dozen.

It had to be Transformers Gen 1 as a kid and also Ulysses 31, if you know that. I just found it's been restored and is up on archive.org Both cheesy but some nice early 80's animation. Anything Hanna-Barbera from the same time. Wacky Races, Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines and Hong Kong Phooey

Tom and Jerry Roadrunner

I grew up watching Looney Toons, Roadrunner and Tom & Jerry. The violence was superb and an obvious target for the Simpsons to lampoon. My kids were big fans of Phineas and Ferb and I couldn’t help myself from imitating the evil professor. Of course with streaming, they watch Simpsons (and therefore Itchy & Scratchy) all the time now. Cats getting bludgeoned to death somehow never gets old!

Not my favorite, but I remember only being able to catch it on Sat mornings.
Doug, Rugrats, Dexters Lab.
Also enjoyed a bunch of older Hanna barbera cartoons on Cartoon Network like Wacky Racers, the herkuloids.
