Cooking Rice the Turkish Way

As an Asian, I've been eating rice almost my entire life, but the Turkish way of cooking makes it taste so much better! 👀

Ingredients

  • rice
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • arpa ÅŸehriye
  • water ( they use hot water, quite interesting )
  • chicken broth
  • salt

How?

  • rinse the rice
  • add the olive oil and butter to the pot
  • add the ÅŸehriye and stir until light brown
  • add the rice, chicken broth, water and salt, stir
  • put on the lid and turn to low heat
  • wait and done 🤩

Orzo, also known as risoni, is a form of short-cut pasta, shaped like a large grain of rice. Orzo is traditionally made from flour, but it can also be made of whole grain. It is often made with semolina, a type of flour made from durum wheat.

turkish people also called it noodle 👀
