Cooking Rice the Turkish Way
As an Asian, I've been eating rice almost my entire life, but the Turkish way of cooking makes it taste so much better! 👀
Ingredients
- rice
- olive oil
- butter
- arpa ÅŸehriye
- water ( they use hot water, quite interesting )
- chicken broth
- salt
How?
- rinse the rice
- add the olive oil and butter to the pot
- add the ÅŸehriye and stir until light brown
- add the rice, chicken broth, water and salt, stir
- put on the lid and turn to low heat
- wait and done 🤩

Orzo, also known as risoni, is a form of short-cut pasta, shaped like a large grain of rice. Orzo is traditionally made from flour, but it can also be made of whole grain. It is often made with semolina, a type of flour made from durum wheat.
turkish people also called it noodle 👀
