When I setup my lightning node, took me some thinking to understand that if 100 sats goes in one end and comes out the other end, all the nodes in the transaction end up with their same number of sats they are just across different channels

Yes, it's not really intuitive at first, for example analogies like the water-filled buck helped me to understand the concept of liquidity.
