I think the whole idea is to replace dollars, it would be a funny bit of irony if we replaced the dollar symbols representation with sats. Mission accomplished

We are building a new monetary system! Wouldn’t it be way more symbolic to let $ become a relic from the past? I'd prefer if my grandkids only learned about the dollar sign in museums.
