Wallet of Satoshi doesent support lightning login and they probably never will until they adopt a model like SBW where each wallet is a node, but the liquidity is hosted by someone else. this is how you get login with lightning to users who dont have any sats to begin with + more
Why do you think they won't support lightning login? Since WoS already has lightning address, it's not that big of a leap technically to add LNURL-Auth.
I received an e-mail from a person ... "Timmy", with compliments on my content on SN. While I appreciate this note, ... I'm a little suspicious. It kind of seemed like a spam / mass e-mail message.
My e-mail address is available publicly (e.g., on my blog posts, and on github) so if this was an authentic, personal, note -- then this person could easily have found it. But there's just this hint of doubt in me. Are there others here on SN who have received such an e-mail?
The traditional web seems fine. The problem is regulations are added every year that makes it harder to work with and also worsens the user experience without really solving anything.
In the next 100 years we will have already a society that lives with AI.
Human language translation will be pretty much solved so any language would be fine. The main issue would be how to communicate with AIs in the best way.
I've been using SN for months now and just yesterday I linked my account with an email and Github. Only reason is just in case I lose my phone or something, I'd still like to be able to login to this nym.
Same here! Just signed up moments ago. Bitcoin Twitter is just losing it luster for me, and this place has early Digg.com vibes going but for Bitcoin. Love it!
(also my comment on usage of non-english still stands: When you use English for your posts, then you have a higher chance to earn more sats, since we don't yet have language specific subs...)
What are the best places to get plugged into the bitcoin community? Aside from this site, bitcoin twitter and reddit... Other suggestions or main spots I'm missing?
