I've been wondering about this for some weeks now; every day there is a sudden spike in rewards, and just now, I've seen it happen in real time!
Someone - or some thing - donated 100.000 Satoshis in one go.
Is SN increasing the rewards artificially as a means of onboarding more potential users (as well as giving back to the community), or is this the work of some mysteriously generous entity?!
...🧐
Could be territory renewal fees for people? I'm not sure how those work if they go to the rewards pool or not.

territory renewal fees don’t go to the rewards pool, basically all other “revenue” for SN does

Cheers for clarifying KR 👊

...They go into kr's pocket. 🤭😘

🙋‍♀️
SN has been slowly distributing the forbidden sats to the rewards pool each day.
In past months advertisers have paid 100k sats/day as boosts, so SN only donates to the rewards pool when no advertisers are running campaigns.

It is satoshi

This will happen more often as people realize and reward info they get from a post. Hard to put a value of what a post brings to one person. $ 50.00 (100,000 SATS) is value for value.

Timing seems off, but there are SN rewards for getting highly ranked posts, etc, which get added to each post I believe

Its just their boost to the community.. Nothing wrong with that

I sense passive-aggressiveness... Is there something you want to talk off your heart? Something you want to share with us?
Gimme your hand and I'll take it.
