Recency bias. People were saying the same thing in 2019 about a different trio.
The patriots went to 8 straight conference finals.
Chiefs have gone to 6 straight so far
In 2018 patriots won in Kansas City because of defense. The Chiefs defense gave up too many yards and points under bob Sutton

Mahomes and Kelce have all of the postseason receiving records now. Obviously, I get that Brady and Gronk were great (and part of that was Gronk's elite blocking that Kelce doesn't even remotely match).
Will Mahomes keep this up for 20+ years? We'll see. As of now, though, he's on pace to surpass Brady's success.

My point is a 3-peat is unlikely despite the greatness of Mahomes, Kelce and Reid.
5 years ago, Reid was the coach who couldn't win the big game.
