Edit: No idea why my images have disappeared...
You'll just have to see them on the website.
Making Bitcoin data make sense
It's easy to find hundreds and thousands of Bitcoin facts and figures. The difficulty comes in making it make sense.
But Bitcoin data can thankfully be made easier by using graphics.
A classic Bitcoin example is when a beginner is worried about dips in price, we can tell them to look at the graphics again and zoom out. It's good, solid advice.
However, is it possible to use this advice with other Bitcoin data?
I'm positive there must be, but can only offer one.
A good example of great graphics
Here's a site that shows Bitcoin supply graphically. It doesn't stop at how much bitcoin has been mined and has yet to be mined - this site digs down further and shows data graphically than this.
Looking at these simple graphics you might see, and compare, many things that you hadn't compared before.
Some good examples of this are:
the amount of coins that Laszlo Hanyecz, who pioneered GPU mining, spent on two pizzas - with how many coins that Tesla currently hold.1
How many mined years worth of bitcoin spot bitcoin ETF companies have so quickly been able to hold.2
Although MicroStrategy are known to hold a sizeable amount of bitcoin, how does this compare with the amount of bitcoin that were forfeited to the Chinese government when a group of scammers were caught and convicted. The forfeited bitcoin would later 'processed' by the state according to reports. How does this compare to MicroStrategy's stash? Simply compare the two below.3
I've tried not to provide spoilers for any of the above. But, if you're impatient, I've provided the answers to these via the footnotes.
Noticed another interesting comparison after seeing the graphics?

Obviously visit, and bookmark, the source Blockchain center to keep up to date with the data and graphics.
Although the page shows the update date as 2020, it's safe to assume the figures are up to date: digging into the quoted sources, it's easy to see their figures are very current.*
