Just a few questions for territory owners who moderate. Is the only tool available the outlaw button that's enabled when you activate moderation? What is the effect of the outlaw tool? Does it only remove the post, or does it ban the account? Thanks

There's also normal down zap behavior too for non moderators that can lead to an outlaw, even on Territories that don't have moderation turned on. I have sometimes unintentionally downzapped things (as I use as normal upvote/downvote behavior) into an outlaw status on my own territory without the intention of making it outlawed. So I have to be careful now.
Good point. Maybe I'll just raise posting fees for now to encourage quality content.
I would say probably wait until it's a problem? I set mine very low (50) and think it's probably fine for the niche that it is already. Probably depends on your type of Territory.

You can upzap after you downzap to effectively undo the upzap and vice versa
oh so for example if you accidentally downzap with 100 sats, you could "upzap" with 100 sats again and will be in normal state ? Or better upzap with more sats to be over that 0 threshold? That's interesting.

I just noticed this was a thing yesterday. I like the fact it can be overridden, unlike another place I know that rhymes with "stacker".
Yeah, I'm torn. I hate the idea of moderation, and I am thinking of letting the territory go anyway.
If its active, it'd be a shame to let it go while stacker news is still growing. I am of course figuring the territory isn't something like "easy to make chemical weapons" or something though.

I don't have moderation set. Haven't had any need for it. I have downzapped some sats farming posts but that's about it.
