As a young dev while at first offput by this talk from Appsterdam, it sunk in and really gave me a good framework for how to evaluate whether my idea could stand up to scrutiny. It has helped me decide who is worth working with and who is not.

That's exactly my goal. It's easier to scan for value in the text than it is to watch the whole video so having a simple succinct summary saves time and lets you decide, is this worth including in my information diet?

Everyone will let you down when it comes to their personal gain. This is generally true to the point to assume otherwise is to find burn out.

I agree with being realistic in human relations but there's gotta be a middle ground of balance between trust and holding others accountable to being fair with you.
