Nostr is looking really suspect these days. The community has created Nostr Assets, eCash, eNuts, it all looks very similar to Ethereum before it released DeFi and NFTs in 2018.

I don't think I share your level of concern but I am more aware of it now that you've said it. I think you have a point. We need to stay skeptical and not cede self sovereignty as a goal.
