I got the date in the title wrong again in yesterday's post. So I double and triple checked this posts' title to make sure the date is correct.
A busy day today in the NBA with 11 games. Unfortunately, it had also been a busy day for myself and there was not enough time for me to write a more detailed-brief recap like I normally do. As a result, this will be a brief-brief recap.
I'll list the results of tonight's games below. You can also search it up in any search engine to look at the box score and other game details.
Magic beat Nets 108-81 Cavaliers beat Mavericks 121-119 Warriors beat Wizards 123-112 Hawks beat Jazz 124-97 Pelicans beat Knicks 115-92 Celtics beat 76ers 117-99 (9 game win streak for Celtics) Timberwolves beat Spurs 114-105 Bucks beat Hornets 123-85 Pistons beat Bulls 105-95 Thunder beat Rockets 112-95 (6 game win streak for Thunder) Heat beat Trail Blazers 106-96
As you can see, all of the games were won by a comfortable margin, with the exception of the Cavs vs Mavs game, which came down to the wire. Cavs were up by 1 with 8.3 seconds to play. Mavs to inbound, and Kleber's inbound pass was tipped by Mobley, but Doncic got the ball back and went on to give a no look pass to Washington under the rim. Washinton went up for a put in, and puts the Mavs up by 1 with 2.7 seconds left. Cavs were out of timeouts, so they cannot advance the ball and had to inbound from their baseline. With almost no time left, Max Strus attempts a shot from behind half court that went in, beating the buzzer and winning the game for the Cavs. If you were a Mavs fan, there was probably nothing you can do but shake your head and look forward to the next game. With that Max Strus play, I declare it my subjective play of the day. Now let's watch Strus' heroics.
Feel free to comment below if you have anything to share or anything you would like to discuss. Cheers and have a good night!
Knicks 😫

They should be doing much better when OG and Randle comes back from injury.

The last two minutes of the Mavs Cavs (rolls off the tongue) was wild. That was a very entertaining game.
Looking pretty dismal for the 76ers. Appear to be headed for the play in. Maybe just maybe against the Raps if they can sneak in.

Seems like the 76ers' success relies solely on one player, but I guess such is the case for most teams in the NBA nowadays. Raptors vs 76ers play in would be fun.

Raptors still have a lot of work to do and a tough schedule but they are playing well. Who knows. It would be a fun matchup even though if Embiid is back the Raps probably have no shot.

I wouldn't say no shot, as anything can happen in sports. But chances of Raps beating a full strength 76ers on a play in game is very low. First the Raps have to make the play in though, and I also consider the chance of that happening being low.
