Under the replies of this post I will try (hopefully with some help) to get posts up to 69 sats (niiice number πŸ˜…) once it reaches that number we work on the next one underneath. Let's try and add some random/interesting fact to the message:
Domestic cats can't taste sweet flavours, but they can taste ATP (adenosine triphosphate) which humans can't. Cats are mainly carnivore and tasting ATP helps them distinguish good sources of nutrients.

One of the easiest ways to earn sat rewards right now is to comment well + upvote comments. Half the rewards are comment related.

Yo, @k00b - Are you considering implementing hashtags, so we can use them in search?
reply
We waiting for sub-channels instead 😎
reply
We currently have full text search. What advantage would hashtags have?
reply
I use them as a way to search generically for a specific topic without knowing the exact text.
Say for instance I write a helpful guide as a reply to someone on a specific topic, and tag it with a hashtag. Assuming other use like-kind hashtags you could easily search for something like #coldstorage and pull down all the posts with that tag. So essentially the same function as Twitter (at least how I used them). Perhaps what you have implemented would work the same way.
reply
You can add hashtags to your posts now if you want and they'll be searchable afaik. There aren't any features geared toward hashtags though.
On a related note, users have asked for 'filters' or 'categories' so that users who only wanted to read on economics could browse that and so on.
reply
Sounds pretty similar to sub-reddits. I dig it!
Appreciate the real-time feedback, as always sir. I appreciate you and the work you are doing here.

@k00b In addition to total sats it would be nice to see how many actual users upvoted. If my comment received 123 sats, was it useful to 3 people or 13 people?
reply
If you hover over the sats (on desktop), it'll show you from how many users.
reply
That's awesome, thanks!

Nice work as always @k00b
reply
Oh yea. It's all coming together.
reply
@k00b what do you think about infinite scrolling?
reply
Yes please infinite scrolling would be a great feature!
If it could be optional that would be ideal :)
reply
It might be better for engagement, but I feel like it's not always good for users to scroll and scroll and scroll.
reply
Reasonable!

Welp CPI is higher than expected again. The White House is saying that the CPI reading is unacceptably high and "out of date". https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2022/07/13/president-biden-statement-on-cpi-inflation-in-june/
I think that CPI is going to get fudged again so that it appears lower than it actually is.
reply
The fact that it's this high when they already fudge it by choosing the basket of goods to mark against is pretty nuts.

Up n at em!

My manager is off all week so I get to sit here and read about btc and LN and get paid. I have a question tho, whenever I try to login with lightning with BlueWallet I get "Bad response from server" I deposited sats to SN just fine but can't get the login with lightning to work, any fix?
reply
Have you updated BlueWallet to the version with lnauth? It might otherwise think it's a pay code.
reply
Wow, I never zapped you for this helpful reply lol

Soon to the shipyard to turn wrenches! We may get a chance to pop out an aft shaft tube bearing with a manual hydraulic jack pulling on an aluminum place we placed at the other end of the bearing. To install, they put it in dry ice to shrink it, then put it into the tube. Once it expands it has a great seal. Normally they get glued in (different type of bearing and material) and we have to cut them and collapse them to get them out.

so we going to see the CPI economy meltdown today and expect FED to hike. do we believe they will brake the system if it takes place?
I am on the verge of stating they wont hike as the CPI wont be as bad as everyone believes.
outside of that, we just had a block 744822 and Bitcoin network is chugging along perfectly - predictably and reassuringly. life has not been better.
maybe we can put up 'block clock' somewhere around with custom fields similar to clark moody's dashboard and/or mempool_space

In Canada the central bank announced a larger-than usual 75-basis-point hike. It's hard to ignore what's going on in Sri Lanka too.
General attention span for news happenings is tending to 0 minutes, I think people are overloaded with bad news.
