ive yet to see a single apartment complex in my neck of the woods with more than a few token charging stations supplied by the local utility company via a state grant, i have never seen a privately funded ev charging station built by a landlord with their own dime... i dont remotely see the economics making sense for that to be privately funded, unless the result was higher rent or the tenants having to pay the electrical + a fee for the charge...you must be seeing something happening differently where you live.

many apartment owners install their own EV chargers in their underground parking stalls at their own expense.

that is a potential future but its not true now or anytime soon without fleecing the public to build it out.
