Flitter showed up many years ago as a little curious kitten. She's the oldest cat we have and runs the show. All the other cats are bigger and younger but they submit to her... well except Lucy. She's the wild card. Flitter must stand or lay on top of anything new. It can be a box, a table, a chair, doesn't matter. She has to climb up on it and lay down. She is by far the most curious cat I've ever seen.
