Closely related tech & general finance channels are a safe bet imo. A meme channel would be nice as well. Probably lots of gamers here too. And other internet culture.

We are headed there.
Most of us, afaict, come here now because nearly all Bitcoin news ends up here and discussions are among fellow bitcoiners. Bitcoiners definitely want to discuss other things, but until the community is larger, the fat tail of related content will be "what people want": privacy, governance, energy, economics, etc. Put another way, imagine every bitcoiner's interests as a circle in a venn diagram - the main overlap is very focused.
We plan to add polls soon, which should help us guage areas of secondary overlap. Eventually too, we'll allow users to create their own subs, which will remove the need to debate this at all.

I am not sure if this is a bitcoin discussion forum or if its mostly bitcoin discussion because everyone in this is space holds bitcoin lol. I suspect that its the former, but it would be cool if this grew to the point where we could have sub "stacks"

I hope that SN becomes something that draws people into Bitcoin and not just draw from the preexisting Bitcoin community.
It has the ability to do so. But it's focused on discussing mostly Bitcoin and a little broader finance/tech & politics for now.

I hope SN stays focused on Bitcoin. There are better places to discuss games or sports or whatever.
Bitcoin is just starting and there's huge amount of news to come, and SN is a perfect place to dissect everything. Of course, there are lots of things related to Bitcoin, which can be discussed here.
