RSS was the best way for me to stay up to date about the recent publications in my field. Then, google's RSS aggregator was discontinued, I briefly switched to Feedly, but it slowly faded out of my life. I now mostly rely on Google Scholar's recommendations about which papers matter in my field. I like to believe it's good at it, but never actually checked this assumption. Anyone still using RSS here?

Anyone still using RSS here?
I am running a RSS feed of SN in TG here

I personally don't use it anymore, but our advertising panels still use RSS to access news. It's a simple way for devices to access information published by other entities.

Good to see Aaron remembered also in the HN thread
RSS is a great tool. I've been using it for more than a decade.
Just to remember that you can also follow SN content using RSS.
You can get the homepage posts on: https://stacker.news/rss You can get individual territories posts on: https://stacker.news/~<name>/rss
Suggestion time: perhaps a feed for the post's comments and feed to follow a given user activity would also be nice/useful.
