It's true that there's no such thing as a truly free market. However, there are some sectors where there's more freedom than others. The question goes deeper than that, though: does a free market erode moral character? Where do we draw the line?
For example, in the US healthcare sector, I've heard that they can refuse assistance to someone who doesn't have health insurance.

health care is private (you are part of the club) or public (=government). The best health you can get is the one you get from yourself and the community around you
