Obviously this is not for seed phrases. Just for regular login/password info.

I installed KeePass, and it looks fine. But I don't need the complexity of a database format, I just want a simple text file (or similar) that I can put my passwords in, and lock with a master password, like KeePass does. I'm not very familiar with what's out there.

What's a simple option?

gpg --symmetric <file>?

veracrypt can give you a encrypted usb stick. you can create whatever file system you want on it

Actually apparently you can actually add a file as an attachment in KeePass.

That looks straight-forward, I'll probably stick with that unless someone has a better idea.

Best thing you can do is keep things familiar, so this is probably your best option

With 7zip (and most compress software) you can encrypt it and put a password on it.
