So an archived territory will sell for the same price as a brand new one, I take it?
Seems like someone could just post that they want to sell their territory, and assuming it has some value over a new territory, people could make offers, and then they make the transfer.

Interesting. I assume the value would be in the content?

This makes the idea of evergreen content all the more crucial -- I hadn't thought of that before, but the more the site offers tools / support to curate evergreen-ness, the more viable and attractive territories are -- like a fertile plot of land that keeps spitting out potatoes or whatever.

It is a territory. Seems like it should be like digital bitcoin real estate

yes correct. Take ~builders. it's a place for an existing community using the territory as an alternative to... let's say slack or discord.
I think the most important is to engage with the community or create one. We'll hopefully have soon some functionality to allow people to zap or chip in territories, or also multy-ownership will be a great thing to have. You cannot do it alone, in the meantime, invite people to join you, create contents in your territory and interact with it actively! That's my advice and approach
