Every modern laptop sucks it seems. The obsession with being thin is retarded because rigidity grows with the cube of thickness. Being thin adds zero value.
Any laptops that aren't super flexy and breaking? Seems like a laptop these days can only last 6-12 months.
Here is a thread of my ideas on how to solve this: https://twitter.com/DiracDel/status/1771208009055637551

Lenovo p16 is a beast. It even has a rollcage. Heavy and imposing.

Old Thinkpads, super glue & baking soda, gaffer tape and some brute force now & then!
My T480 now has a bent cooling channel & a jammed in battery from an X250. The usb port broke off the main board, so now it’s running on 12 volts directly between the battery and main board connector, spared me getting a new one ;-)
Keep it to the same series and model if you can, with time you’ll have spare parts available for whatever

I wouldn't mind if laptops are built with iron man material and with that they may only get broken if Thanos puts his a ton of foot on it.
