lol that won't happen dude. This is a community for Bitcoiners, with a focus on long form discussions. Like HN.
In fact, the much more likely scenario is that Reddit copies SN and introduces Lightning tips on their platform.

It's easy to accidentally hit the lightning button. Losing one sat is pretty minor, but might put a little more distance between the icon and the title/comment, or give like a 10 second undo window

Undo within a limited short time window not a bad idea although maybe not a high priority. I often accidentally upvote stuff as well. Happens on reddit as well but you can simply undo your upvote at any time (not something i'd want)

I would like to see post type filter, so I can see off-hand if this is a
- SN Post
- External article
- Video embed
- Twitter post
So I can just go okay I only want to see video posts as an example
I'd like to see some form of curation or categorising, so I can see posts like news, apps, lightning, economics so I can follow certain rabbit holes, could even call it rabbit holes
I would also like the feature of paying sats to add someone to an ignore list, lol some people are worth hiding from my feed

- Meme search just like there is Tenor GIF search, apart from the GIF search like tenor
- personal profile page using design of no-code free online app
- crowdfunding of ideas and crowdsourcing of tasks and talent, i.e. contests / creative challenges
- a million pixels on the screen for sale to the highest bidders, so a billboard like r/place
- a youtube like video section
- allow easy drag and drop of images, gifs and videos to comments/posts

I'ld like to see Advanced Search.
E.g., to filter based on comments or posts (or both) from a specific user, in a specific date range, with a specific keyword (or exact match on a search phrase).

Additional rss feeds. AFAIK it's just the firehose that's available. It's getting unweildy. Maybe top x per day or top x per week feeds would be cool.
Or must exceed x sats to get onto the feed.

Does Hacker News have polls? No, it doesn't.
Because they just dumb down the discussion. Keeps people from engaging.
If I wanted to tap an icon, I'd tap the lightning icon.

Some setting to have a local feed. Like global feed and German feed for example. There are many German bitcoiners who don't speak English and therefore don't use SN
