March is always a significant, real start for me in the Year. I no longer mistakenly use the wrong year on documents. Many meaningful birthdays fall in March for me. Spring has begun; we reached 20°C here in Germany today. So, I want to celebrate this month with you—March Madness, the upcoming halving. You name it!
So here is my first bounty ever!
Few indicators for this post:
  • This is a wonderful territory that brings true color to the platform. No generated memes, just views from random perspectives of the world outside.
  • I was reading these wonderful takeaways from @cryotosensei in this post #486092 for March Madness, and his first bounty was also placed in this territory (#471053). I will forward some rewards from this post to him, kind of a mentor for my start here on this platform, the first person I subscribed to as well.
  • Most of us see Bitcoin as an inner hope for a better future. Often discussed are the key problems we see outside this world. Let's bring our positive insights to the world outside to life and share our best moments of harmony, positivity, or happiness. You get it ;)
  • I won my first place in the Meme Contest Bounty and want to give something back. In my opinion, you had to come early to this weekly posts. So I posted a meme, somebody replied with a duplicate claim from an earlier contest. I didn't want to bother, deleted it, and posted a new one. Kind of late to the party now, but I still won with (#469902). Don't get the shenanigans on this platform sometimes, but there are times you have to accept it. Haha - Big Thanks for the votes :)
Contest/Rules:
  • Reply with your best picture taken in March '24. Show what made you happy, gave you harmony, inner peace, or positivity. No more restrictions. Feel free to change the picture or context in regards to privacy concerns :)
  • No memes or generated art, just photographs that express your most positive moment of March, captured in a picture.
  • Taken in March ´24. Stacker News trust base.
  • Extra Text: general time and region taken. If you'd like to provide extra context, feel free to do so. Please try not to exceed two lines of text.
  • The winner, voted by the top comment, will be rewarded on Sunday, 07/04/2024.
My comment would look like this:
Giant Mountains, Czech Republic 25/03/2024 Skiing trip
Let's celebrate the beauty of life's uplifting moments and inspire each other with our shared experiences of positivity and joy in March '24!

This photo in itself is not interesting, but the fact that my 6-year-old daughter this month started beating me at chess is.

Your picture looks like a freaking postcard!
Here’s my offering:
My son shared his lion dance head with three siblings he met at the playground. I manipulated the picture as much as possible so that Stackers would see the visual shapes instead of focusing on the children’s facial expressions.
Looks like 2024 is turning out to be a good year for you xP

Rock Garden, Chandigarh, India, 10/03/24

“Art”! From quirky waterfalls, labyrinthine formations, huge swings, hilarious mirrors, to sculptures made out of scrap and waste material like glass bottles bangles, tiles, ceramic pots, sinks, and wires, you will find something to keep you hooked to this place whichever direction you turn your head to. And if you haven’t ever visited this gem of a place in Chandigarh, this small guide will surely compel you to!

This is a picture from up north. My father in law has a maple syrup farm and it’s way off the grid! If you look close you will see the green sap lines. We live in the city so it was special to be in the family woods over Easter Weekend and to have my son’s stick their tongues out and drink the sap running out of the trees! For my father in law it’s a true passion and proof of work! He was in heaven sharing his passion with grandkids!

Turns out my best photo of the month was an impromptu attempt to do something interesting with chicken thighs for dinner.
