Hint that few realize it: having your own Mutiny server, also you can provide a node for your family and friends...

People usually just hit install and use... nothing wrong with that. But they do not realize that by using it like that they it is not too much different than a WoS... that is not "self-custodial" as it is promoted.

Yeah I need a new solution. When trying to pay family after setting them up with breeze it keeps failing with no route found. then I look like a fool

Mutiny definitely is way superior to Breez. Breez is walled garden, only a single LSP. Mutiny, you can open channels with whoever you want and have multiple routes.

Breez isn't a walled garden. You can open channels to it from any node.

Seems like an alternative to 0xchat, which uses cashu instead of fedimint. This is an interesting space. NOSTR becoming the true web3.
