Lightning.video has the potential to become both YouTube and OnlyFans, allowing content creators to monetize their content in truly better manner. I have a friend that uses Lightning.video to essentially post the same content that she'd post on OnlyFans, but posts it on Lightning.video. From what I can tell, she's happier with LV over OF.

Yeah man, the GUI isn't great, and search is needed but I can see the potential for sure, and if you have stuff like embeds, will make having an LV video profile much more valuable, you can also have so much lower rates for access, people are sleeping on this one for sure

Sounds promising. We do need a better way of deciphering quality content rather than relying on thumbnails and clickbaity titles - especially when people's hard-earned sats are up for grabs.
Perhaps first 30 seconds is free and the rest is chargeable.

I agree with that, having a teaser/trailer would be a great option for people who are smaller creators and don't have the trust with an audience built up from other assets like having a website etc
