While he is in power, we cannot expect any arrests, but when he is no longer in power, we will see if he has what it takes to continue evading his judicial responsibilities.

That's not what it's about. They need future politicians, and currently serving ones, to know that there won't be any repercussions for them as long as they stay in line.
