Let's pretend that there was a push for legitimate elections. At the same time let's pretend there is a disinterested agent, perhaps a DAO, that would facilitate a purely legitimate election. The lightning network already allows for notes to be attached to transactions. So theoretically a separate kind of lightning network could be developed to secure elections. Perhaps voters could be furnished with Satoshi or likely preferably NFT's built on BTC off-chain smart contracts that would be virtual ballots. These NFT's could be minted by the voter after review and "signature" sent through the local node managed by the DAO. The DAO could register real-time results including such factors as participation even "exit-poll" could be monetized for participation. Is such a system possible now? Has anyone contemplated such a system? If Monero style wallets could be introduced on a LN like chain then privacy could be insured. Any thoughts? Just a side note I am not a big believer in democracy however I see value in the process, generally.

No matter how safe you make those elections, the whole idea of voting is rigged, useless and IMORAL.
Voting some dudes to govern you is BEGGING FOR SLAVERY.

But listen this 5 min interview how with just few simple questions you can rebut the whole idea of government existence.
GOVERNMENT IS FUCKING SCAM and people refuse to see it.
PLEASE STOP BEING AN OBEDIENT SLAVE!

I hope you read my first 2 sentences and the final. I'm much more of an Anarchist (or Christian Monarchist) than I am a believer in democracy. However there is some value in a democratic process for certain instances in human interactions. I hope that makes it clear.

I read and exactly that's why I commented.
If I were you I would not even dare to post such thing.

It's cool. There is no human endeavor imaginable to require a vote on anything ever apparently. Even if by a contract a large group of people must determine a concensus it should ALWAYS be forbidden to take anything to a vote because dictator coin had spoken. Truly independent thinkers.
