I only asked what people consider more important to do in a hypothetical situation that you know for sure you only have 5 years more to be in this world.

For folks thinking about [this post](https://stacker.news/items/495097) and wanting two hard SF takes on the subject, Neal Stephenson and Stephen Baxter are two great choices. *Seveneves* deals with the destruction of the Moon, while *Flood* is, well, you can figure that one out. :-)

Both well worth reading on their own, anyway.
