For folks thinking about this post and wanting two hard SF takes on the subject, Neal Stephenson and Stephen Baxter are two great choices. Seveneves deals with the destruction of the Moon, while Flood is, well, you can figure that one out. :-)

But my post wasn't about a real "end of the world". Why stackers think about that? I only asked what people consider more important to do in a hypothetical situation that you know for sure you only have 5 years more to be in this world.
