HRF is proud to support and participate in the Bitcoin Policy Summit next Tuesday, April 9th!
The event programming is designed to educate US policy makers about Bitcoin the right way and the agenda has a strong focus on Bitcoin’s staggering benefits as a humanitarian and pro-democracy tool.
Some highlights include a keynote from Financial Director of the @ACF_int, @AnyaChekhovich, on why Russian dissidents use Bitcoin.
This will be followed by insights from Human Rights defender and Nobel Prize Nominee @maradiaga discussing how Bitcoin is a modern tool to fight autocracies.
@RoyaMahboob will discuss how Bitcoin is powering underground education for women in Afghanistan.
The human rights benefits are the most compelling reasons for democracies to support Bitcoin.
