Definitely the runaway rookie of the year but what did you think of his rookie season?
Underachieved, Overachieved or about what you expected?

Every time I watched Wemby I was impressed by a different aspect of his game, so I definitely think he had an awesome rookie season.

That's tough. It wasn't what I expected and he wasn't consistently dominant, so I don't know if I can say he overachieved. With where the hype was for him he would have had to outdo the rookie seasons from Lebron, Kareem, Luka, etc. to have overachieved.
He also showed way to much as a rookie to say he underachieved, especially with whatever the hell Pop was doing with that roster.
I'd say he altered my expectations dramatically and I currently have no idea what his ceiling is. He might change the geometry of the game like we haven't seen since Steph.

I think it's fair to say he had a good rookie season. I agree he hasn't overachieved, nor underachieved and showed how high his ceiling could be.

And they are talking also of the best defenser of the league for this year so far...

I made my ROTY pick 2 months ago already.
Wemby is definitely an exciting player to watch. I expected him to be great offensively after watching his highlights playing in Europe. What surprised me was his defensive play; it's on DPOY level right when he enters the NBA. I was also surprised how quickly he adapted to the NBA and how well he is able to perform even playing in a shitty team. I thought he was going to be great in his second or third year, but didn't expect him to play at this level / averaging these numbers on year one. In that sense, I think he overachieved / beat my expectations.
Agree with Undisciplined that he could potentially change how the game is played, like what Steph did to the game.
