I liked BRD because it had stand-alone full spv. Now, for a light wallet something that does Neutrino private sync, like Breez, would be a much better choice even for on-chain imo.
Coinbase acquihired them or something like that. Users that have updated are essentially forced to migrate to Coinbase Wallet. (Though, they still have the seed phrase so technically no funds lost if they don't switch).

The team was able to do a rug pull/exit scam via their ERC-20 "BRD" token, though 😢
