110% right! To me thats what made this whole thing more amazing/funny even. At the end of the day Telegram got what they wanted. Was it a little late? Yep but honestly they probably got a better product because of spinning it out and letting it become what it has! 

Its interesting because usually when the government and SEC interferes, the project completely stalls. 
Little guys usually dont have to funds to win.
