Can we control what we think? Can we control our dreams? Can we control the next song we hum?
Our nervous system is generally classified into voluntary and involuntary systems. What's the dominance ratio of these systems? My guess is voluntary system can control only 10%
Scientists say that training and practice can add or update the involuntary system. Can we retrain the entire involuntary system or just a part of it? What's the extent of that?
Mind is a wonderful thing. We don't understand it completely but we try to influence each other's minds.
Just my morning thoughts.

You think you arent in control? Look at this alien hand syndrome. https://youtu.be/V0QbcROOv-E?si=I38tDsGc434j3m5b now tell me how little you actually control your life.

There is a theory that the brain is a sensory organ, an antenna of sorts, and not itself the fount of consciousness.
It makes sense if true. The eyes perceive light, the ears sound pressure changes, the skin touch, the tongue / nose senses chemicals....and the brain is a sensory organ that receives consciousness waves.
