Fingers crossed this works and we can get oil down and trade routes safe again... also not having to worry about a huge Middle Eastern war is nice as well
I believe Israel claims that Hamas approved a watered down proposal. It seems like the best way to evaluate conflicting statements is to watch the price of oil.

I havent seen anything come out of Israel yet but yeah its odd that Hamas has just said we agree to a ceasefire without specifying what was going on with hostage release and aid.

Sadly this post has aged worse than milk in the sun over the last two hours. It is clear that Hamas never intended on actually coming to a ceasefire and rather was/is attempting a PR move. Hamas tragically has no regard for any life in Gaza and instead is just trying to delay delay delay until the outside world forces Israel's hand. Yesterday's attack on a border point highlights they do not care about aid getting in and helping the civilians in Gaza.
Any leverage that Hamas once had is now gone. Israel is going into their last stronghold and who knows how many are going to die because of Hamas's actions.
