German construction PMI fell from 38.3 to 37.5 points in April and continues to point to a recession in the country.
The industry received 0.4% fewer orders in April compared to the previous month, defying the general upward trend in global industry. Analysts had assumed that the order backlog would grow by 0.4%. To make matters worse, the figures from the previous month of March were revised downwards from +0.2% to a fall in orders of 0.8%. Only those who falsify such statistics know how this difference comes about. German industry thus remains a reflection of the reality of the German government's completely screwed-up and socialist economic policy.
