Although almost everyone here on SN might have humorous or witty parts in their posts and comments, I don’t usually read them because of their wit. One stacker who I do read for his devastating wit is @cryotosensei.
It's always as if he never missed a chance to prove his wit's worth. Even today, his wit exemplified yet another PPP post declaring that he's trying to make us all obsessed with his 'routine posts'. Haha.
@cryotosensei's wit and humour has led me to revisit my unconscious memory. So, I roamed straight back to the era of renaissance. Undoubtedly, Shakespeare surpasses all everywhere in every era and he is regarded best for he is best. There are some others I read again and again for their witty remarks on life.
“Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested.
I am a devout follower of Bacon's wit. After I had read Bacon for the first time in 2004, I completely changed my reading behaviour. The quote about reading had a lot to do with it. I only read books that are worth reading, often reading headings.
If we are to achieve things never before accomplished we must employ methods never before attempted.
Before reading this quote, I was simply a guy who wanted to accomplish some crazy goals but used to sit with normies more than often. I could only realise the problem after I came accross these words when my teacher casually wrote them on the board.
The impact of Bacon's wit is everlasting on my life and @cryotosensei for me is just sitting next to Bacon in terms of his incredible use of wit and humour. If you wonder why, here's a witty remark from him...

The difference between Bacon and @cryotosensei is just an Oscar Wild in between.
The difference between literature and journalism is that journalism is unreadable and literature is not read.
In the lines above Oscar Wild has left us wondering with a lot of ifs. However when you look at SN, you can overlook this witty remark. The eras of Bacon's and Wild's were significant, and so is ours.
SN community is exceptionally good while bringing literature and journalism together. Sometimes, I feel like Stackers are on a mission to perfection, at least when serving their devastating wit. @cryotosensei being the torchbearer, at least for witty literature that he is creating.
Has some witty remarks made you change ways, if so who do you read for his devastating wit on SN and off SN?
Haha, this is true. I like reading @cryotosensei posts and comments for a reason. I dont know if you call it this, but it is more of a dry humor.

That’s great because I adore the British for their dry sense of humour. I am not sure which parts of my writing equate to dry wit, but I will take the compliment!
reply
Its not dry wit? What would you call it?
reply
Haha, dry and neat humour, if I can just add. Can you please mention an off SN writer with a lot of wit?
reply
I feel Piers Anthony has a bit of dry humor. I dont know if people read him anymore.
reply
Never heard of him before, I'll try to read him now.

Read On a Pale Horse It starts out a little slow, but if you like it you will have a series you can read.
reply
Thank you so much for suggesting. Will start from there.

Its interesting. You might have to go to a library to find it though, it is a bit older.
reply
Haha, won't go to library. I'm a spy, will catch it from pirates of the Carebbians.
You have a good humour. Great work.
reply
Wow you compare me to arguable the greatest playwright of all time. I’m not sure I’m deserving of such high praise, but thanks
reply
That's very humble of you. TBH, you deserve a every bot of comparison with Bacon. Your writings are full of those wittiest remarks.
