I didn't mean to get your hopes up. I'm pretty sure they'll keep making things worse.
Probably the easiest thing that could be done to make things better would be auctioning off a bunch of Federal and letting people develop it into energy projects (oil, nuclear, etc.) or housing.
That would create tons of jobs and bring down everyone's cost of living.

Ouch, that just sounds very bad. Energy projects never seem to be made under budget, and always are delayed. Just a total suck on funds.

Even private developments for energy projects run on subsidies. Massive subsidies.

That's true (although oil and gas are net taxpayers). Let's cancel those subsidies as part of this idea.

I just remember the company I worked for always making ideas, and then shopping around for subsidies to back up those capital projects.
