So I already have 149000 sats on Breez but cannot seem to receive any more without paying the ‘set up’ fee?
And I cannot receive just 2000 sats - the sending wallet reports an error.
Is this a problem with Breez or me. 😄
Do you guys recommend any other self custody lightning wallets? Thanks. 🙏
It seems you have no more inbound liquidity in your lightning channel. If anyway you receive more sats, a second channel will be automatically opened, thus the 0.4% or 2500 sats fee.

Feel free to contact us at contact@breez.technology and out support team will do their best to help. If you're aren't able to receive, make sure that Breez is opened in the foreground during the payment. If that doesn't help, there's probably a liquidity issue on the sender side.

Why do you say it's likely Breez is showing the wrong amount? It's very unlikely. Whenever users run out of inbound liquidity, they need to pay for opening a new channel.
