I fully expect to lose some precious sats while I experiment with this 🙈😂 - but at some point you just have to tinker and run your own #Umbrel #Bitcoin #LightningNetwork #Node, right?
Currently testing, but will be online for a long time, Starlink willing, and capacity will increase over the next days.
Bitcoin economy is still sloooowly developing here in #Paraguay, and my node is intended to help a little bit to provide the infrastructure for stable and fast Lightning payments, as there are some fledgling projects that one by one recruit and onboard small merchants, individuals and businesses alike to create a #BitcoinEconomy El Salvador-style.
Connect a channel, if you like:

The geographic location of the node does not matter if using Tor. The packets will hop around the globe regardless.
https://glr.com.py is still the only node using a clearnet IP from Paraguay.

whooops, I knew there would be some things to tweak, LOL Node is configured as hybrid, so should work on both. Gotta check. Thanks for pointing that out!

Might be working. You just need to share with us your IP address too (to get clearnet peers)
Once you have a public channel, your node should begin to broadcast both tor and clearnet addresses on the network's Gossip.
Depends what Internet Provider you use for Clearnet. Many choose to go with Cloud proxy or VPN.
If you want to serve fast payments locally, then would be ideal to use a Paraguay IP.

Node went online only today, so maybe needs a bit to get known on the network. External IP I have to check - I am on Starlink, and noticed their IPs here are often attributed to Chile or whatever... LOL
