Couple on interesting shots I took while in Japan. I didn’t have my camera with me but couldn’t miss out on these interesting scenes.

I always liked looking at the temples in Japan.
They always seemed to calm me down.
I remember going to a gravesite, I was amazed at how many graves were packed into such a tight space.
And you can only rent a family space, you cant buy one.
How weird is that?

I would like to go to the more rural side of Japan. And yes! While I was in Tokyo I saw a small lot crammed packed with graves! That’s pretty strange, I heard that you either rent a lot or bury them in your own property.
I have a couple rolls of film I have to develop from my trip and one them have a photo of the gravesite. Hopefully they turn out well.

Yeah, my family has a plot next to some pretty famous people from the past.
They are big on cremation there.

That’s pretty neat. I mean in that in the most respectful way possible. I heard
It’s tradition to pickup the bones of your loved ones with chop sticks and put them into a ceremonial urn right? I wouldn’t mind having that happen when I pass.

They usually cremate, then pick up the bones with huge chopsticks.
Put them in an urn and then put it in a box with everyone elses.
At least that is what my family does.
