Good Question. I honestly don't know. There are links on the site, I suppose you could chat withthem and check out the company. I had not thought of it being a potential scam. I wonder how long it will be before production starts? I pre-ordered an ecoflow "power station" and that worked out 0k, a coupe of minor issues were sorted out with a firmware upgrade. But these cost more, I would wait I think...
