I've been practicing to think at least 6 impossible things before breakfast and throughout the day, and I came up with this.
The hotel by me is called “The Reef Hotel” and they're situated by the reef on the bay. So I thought, what if the hotel was run by octopuses? All the staff. They're smart enough to run a business like that.
Then, against another impossible thing came to mind.
What if we traded with the hotel for resources?
So, as a 🚺women, I swam down and went into the 🏨hotel. They were immediately shocked by my presence, but were still polite. I asked for a room. Baffled by the suggestion, the 🐙octopus staff calls for his 👨💼🐙manager. He touts to me, “Is there a problem, land mammal?” I said “No, I'll like a room at this wonderful hotel." And pulled out my 👛purse and showed him my 💲USD. He looks at it and scuffs. He pulls out a 💸bill from my purse, “What is this❓” A bit confused by the question, I respond, “money we use on 🌆land.” He and the staff nearby breakout in 🤣laughter. Not only that, but when he catches his breath, “This has no value here, bring me something to exchange for a room, and it's yours.” With a little angry, I replied, “I'll take you up on that!” and 🏊♀️swarm up. It's currently mango season on the island. The 🌲trees shed so many 🥭mangoes and end up getting wasted. 💡What if I exchange them for a room? I spent the day collecting the 🥭mangoes. So, I went back the next day with just a bag. And I presented the 🐙octopus 👨💼manager from yesterday, the mangoes I laboriously collected. I opened the bag of mangoes and showed it to him. “What is that?” he wondered for a brief moment. I explained, “...Peel and eat the inside,” then he 🛑stopped me. “Peel? Do we look like we can peel things?” Looking at his eight 🙌limbs and things, and not wanting to be rude. So, instead, I said, “why not?” so I pulled out a 🔪pocketknife and peeled it for him. The 👨💼manger 🐙octopus, observed very closely. I gave him a slice, His eyes widens with delight, “I will take it all.” That's when I learned I brought value to others.
You can give people 🥭mangoes, some will buy, but most want it free. When I asked my friends if they'll buy mangoes from me, they naturally responded, “I'll take it for free.” I even included that I washed it, peeled it and neatly froze it. But they refused to see my time as value. Because the mangos are available and plentiful.
Then, I met a 👨guy. I shared it with him. I taught him how to make 🥭mango 🍨ice cream with the ❄frozen mangos I've collect(which filled 1/4 of my icebox). He wanted more, even after I explained I got it for free from the 🌴jungle. He said, “these are the best mangos I've ever tasted, so I don't care if you got it for free.” I carefully peeled it and vacuum sealed it. That alone has value plus your time. And he supported me since. That was my mini #introductions to #Bitcoin.
